Donna Angelina

Donna Angelina’s mission is simple - to serve delicious and uncomplicated Italian food.
The restaurant boasts a modern and fun fit out with views into the kitchen and roaring wood-fired pizza oven.
The menu boasts delicious Italian classics including delicious pastas, pizzas, snacks and desserts. We commenced our evening with several delicious starters.
The “Pane cunzato ca’ minestra” was a particular stand out. Crispy golden cubes of bread surround flavoursome wilted kale.
An absolute highlight from our dinner was the Risotto carbonara a modo mio. The rice in the risotto was puffy and al-dente and, coupled with gooey egg, onion, olive oil, truffle oil and Foglia d’oro was rich and beautifully flavoured.
The EJA pizza was again, delicious. It was picture perfect in appearance and outstanding in taste. An almighty pizza that was created with mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, rocket, lamb, goat cheese and pistachio, it was a delightful fusion of flavours that ensured every mouthful was moreish. Encircled with a puffy crisp crust, this pizza was superb.
Our evening concluded with a modern take on two traditional desserts.
The Pannacotta alle fragoline was silky smooth while the Si rumpiu u cannolo boasted fresh citrus flavours alongside luxurious ricotta.
Donna Angelina delivers with a fresh take on tradition that is stylish and playful with the finest ingredients imported from Italy and fresh locally sourced produce.
