A foodie weekend in Kyneton

We had a foodie trip to Kyneton recently...
We stayed at the lovely Cherry Tree Cottage which is a charming little self-contained cottage with a delightful private garden of mature trees and a choice of peaceful sitting areas.
We enjoyed their generous breakfast hamper which was filled with fine local produce.

Cherry Tree Cottage is conveniently located just a short walk from historic Piper Street, where we spent most of our time ...

A boutique food store and green grocer accompanied by a bustlinh Cafe on historical Piper street, Duck Duck Goose & Larder serves the best coffee in Kyneton, hands down.

Serving  Supreme 'South Blend' coffee which is roasted in Abbotsford and excellent homely food, Duck Duck Goose  has all of the ingredients necessary to make its mark as a great breakfast or lunch option in Kyneton.

ST. BEANS Provedore
Having opened a mere year ago, St Beans Providore has already gained a loyal following. Serving local, Asian and European sourced produce, the cafe has a good range of menu items that will suit most. We particularly enjoyed their version of the Vietnamese beef pho which we found to have a good depth of flavour.

Dinner

In terms of dinner options in Kyneton, there are two amazing restaurants that are on our must try list - Annie Smithers Bistrot & Produce and Mr Carsisi. They are both, of course, open for lunch but we believe there really is no better way to get acquainted with these two Kyneton gems than through an indulgent dinner.
