G and I decided to catch up at Liar Liar, an extremely popular café just off Glenferrie Road. As it was late Sunday morning (the peak of brunch hour), there was a bearable 15 minute wait for a table.
We loved the casual and relaxed ambience of the place. We each had coffees to start our morning and then again to finish our catch up – their house blend is fabulous!

The food served was of a good standard. I opted for an eggy breakfast that did not disappoint.
Liar Liar serves (as its name suggests) deceptively simple food done well. The friendly staff and good coffee make it a perfect place for a casual brunch catch up.
